Oklahoma Approved directs a portion of its revenue to community giving in the towns we serve, at our own discretion — a league fee, a family's bill, groceries for a household, supplies for a shelter. Here's where it's gone.

Join now and you’re on the 2027 wall — signing up this late in the year covers you through all of next year, not just the months left in this one. Decals are free with the Neighbor and Founding tiers, mailed the first week of each month. Founding supporters stay on the founding list for good, even if a year is missed — the yearly wall shows that year’s supporters. Becoming a supporter is a purchase from Oklahoma Approved, a local business: it puts your name on the wall and gets you the items listed. It doesn’t direct or earmark our community giving, which Oklahoma Approved decides on its own.

We're a local, family-minded directory built on one simple idea: the businesses your neighbors already trust deserve a place to be found — and the community that supports them deserves something back.
We started Oklahoma Approved because we believe a local guide should lift up the whole community — not sell the top spot to whoever pays the most.
Why we're different
A lot of "best of" lists are really just ad space. Pay more, rank higher. We wanted to build the opposite of that — every member listed the same, with one clearly-labeled Community Sponsor spot per town.
Every member equal
Every business gets the same card and the same size — and the order rotates daily, so no one owns the top spot. The only paid placement anywhere on the site is the Community Sponsor — one per town, labeled as sponsored.
