Not yet approvedThe town takes its name from Clyde B. Warr, the developer who laid out the first additions here in 1937. Residents incorporated in 1948 to avoid being annexed by Bethany, and won the fight in the state Supreme Court. It has been its own place ever since. The commercial strips along MacArthur Boulevard and Northwest Expressway carry most of the businesses, and the Putnam City schools tie the community together.
