The grain elevator with YUKON painted down the side is the landmark everybody photographs, and Main Street underneath it has held on to real storefronts. Yukon is also Garth Brooks' hometown, which the town mentions roughly as often as you would expect. West of the city and easy to reach from Mustang and El Reno, it has become a genuine small-business town rather than a place people only sleep.
